Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra dominate the trending people list
The Bollywood couple, who got married in February 2023, grabbed the attention of the masses with their romance and projects. Kiara Advani emerged as the most searched person in India, and also ranked high on the global actors list. Her husband, Sidharth Malhotra, was the sixth most searched person in India. The duo starred in several films together, such as Shershaah, Thank God, and Mission Majnu.

Satish Kaushik and Matthew Perry’s deaths shock the world
The entertainment industry lost two of its gems in 2023, as veteran actor Satish Kaushik and Friends star Matthew Perry passed away. Both personalities featured prominently in the top trending searches in India (news events). Satish Kaushik died on March 9, 2023, due to a cardiac arrest. He was known for his roles in films like Mr India, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, and Tere Naam. Matthew Perry breathed his last on October 28, 2023, after a long battle with addiction and depression.
