KV Online Admission
The admission process for KV Online Admission is based on the following criteria:
- Age of the child
- Category of the child
- Distance of the child’s residence from the school
- Academic performance of the child
The admission process is conducted online through the KV ADMISSION ONLINE portal. The parents or guardians of the eligible children can register and submit the application form online. Admission is granted as per the availability of seats and the priority order of different categories.
The admission process for Bal Vatika 3 is different from other classes. The admission for Bal Vatika 3 is done through a lottery system, where the applications are randomly selected by a computer program. Admission for other classes is done on the basis of merit and reservation norms.
KV Online UG Admission
The UG admission in KV is for class 11 students who have passed class 10 from a recognized board. The admission is subject to the availability of seats in different streams (Science, Commerce, Humanities) and combinations of subjects in each Vidyalaya.
KV ADMISSION ONLINE UG Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for UG admission in KV ADMISSION ONLINE are as follows:
- The student must have passed class 10 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate percentage as prescribed by KVS.
- The student must have studied and passed English as a subject in class 10.
- The student must have studied and passed Mathematics as a subject in class 10 for admission to Science or Commerce stream.
- The student must have studied and passed in Science as a subject in class 10 for admission to the Science stream.
- The student must have studied and passed in Social Science as a subject in class 10 for admission to the Humanities stream.

The steps to fill and submit the application form for KV ADMISSION ONLINE are as follows:
- Visit the official portal kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in and click on “Apply Online”.
- Read the instructions carefully and click on “Next”.
- Fill in the basic details of the child seeking admission such as name, date of birth, gender, category, etc. and click on “Register”.
- Note down the login code generated after registration and click on “Login”.
- Fill the personal details of the child such as address, parent’s name, occupation, etc. and click on “Next”.
- Upload the scanned copies of the required documents such as birth certificate, caste certificate, transfer certificate, etc. and click on “Next”.
