WWE NXT delivered a packed show on February 13, 2024, with multiple title matches and top stars in action. The main event saw The Family, Tony D’Angelo and Channing Lorenzo, retain their NXT Tag Team Championship against The Wolf Dogs, Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin, in a hard-fought match. Lyra Valkyria also defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Shotzi in a thrilling match.

The Family vs. The Wolf Dogs: NXT Tag Team Championship Match
The show kicked off with the NXT Tag Team Championship match between The Family and The Wolf Dogs. The Family had won the titles at NXT TakeOver: WarGames in December 2023, and had successfully defended them against MSK and Imperium. The Wolf Dogs had earned their title shot by winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in January 2024, defeating The Grizzled Young Veterans in the final.
The match was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams showing their power and teamwork. The Wolf Dogs had the upper hand in the early stages, as Breakker and Corbin used their strength and size to overpower The Family. However, The Family fought back with their cunning and chemistry, as D’Angelo and Lorenzo used their speed and agility to outsmart The Wolf Dogs.
The match reached its climax when Breakker hit Lorenzo with a powerbomb, and Corbin followed up with a Deep Six. However, D’Angelo broke up the pinfall at the last second, and then hit Corbin with a low blow behind the referee’s back. D’Angelo then tagged in Lorenzo, who hit Breakker with a Stacks of Cash for the win. The Family celebrated their victory, while The Wolf Dogs looked frustrated and angry.
Carmelo Hayes vs. Joe Gacy: Singles Match
The next match was a singles match between Carmelo Hayes and Joe Gacy. Hayes was the NXT North American Champion, and had defeated Pete Dunne, LA Knight, and Santos Escobar in a fatal four-way match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. Gacy was the leader of the Harland Collective, a group of misfits and outcasts who followed his philosophy of inclusivity and harmony.
The match was a contrast of styles, as Hayes relied on his athleticism and charisma, while Gacy used his size and power. Hayes tried to outwrestle and outspeed Gacy, but Gacy countered with his brute force and submission skills. Gacy also had the advantage of having his followers, Harland and Parker, at ringside, who distracted and attacked Hayes whenever they got the chance.
The match ended when Hayes hit Gacy with a superkick, and then went for a springboard moonsault. However, Harland and Parker pulled Gacy out of the ring, and then attacked Hayes, causing a disqualification. The Harland Collective then beat down Hayes, until Pete Dunne came to the rescue. Dunne cleared the ring of the Harland Collective, and then stared down Hayes, signaling his intention to challenge him for the NXT North American Championship.
Ridge Holland vs. Gallus: Gauntlet Match
The third match was a gauntlet match between Ridge Holland and Gallus. Holland was a dominant force in NXT, who had defeated several opponents with ease, and had aligned himself with Imperium. Gallus was a trio of Scottish brawlers, consisting of Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang, who had been former NXT UK Tag Team Champions and NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion.
The match started with Holland facing Joe Coffey, the leader of Gallus. The two men traded blows and slams, with neither one backing down. Holland gained the upper hand with a headbutt, and then hit Coffey with a Northern Grit for the first elimination. Holland then faced Mark Coffey, who tried to use his speed and agility to counter Holland’s power. However, Holland caught Coffey with a belly-to-belly suplex, and then pinned him with a Northern Grit for the second elimination.
Holland then faced Wolfgang, the last member of Gallus. Wolfgang put up a fight, and managed to hit Holland with a spear and a powerbomb. However, Holland kicked out, and then hit Wolfgang with a headbutt and a Northern Grit for the final elimination. Holland celebrated his victory, while Imperium came out to congratulate him. Holland then grabbed a microphone, and challenged Walter, the NXT UK Champion, to a match at NXT TakeOver: London.
Mr. Stone and Von Wagner vs. Meta-Four: Tag Team Match
The fourth match was a tag team match between Mr. Stone and Von Wagner, and Meta-Four. Mr. Stone was the manager of The Robert Stone Brand, a group of female wrestlers who followed his guidance and advice. Von Wagner was a newcomer to NXT, who had impressed Mr. Stone with his size and potential. Meta-Four was a team of high-flyers, consisting of Noam Dar, the NXT Heritage Cup Champion, and Oro Mensah, a rising star from Ghana.
The match was a showcase of the different styles and personalities of the teams. Mr. Stone and Von Wagner used their strength and experience to control the match, while Meta-Four used their speed and agility to create openings. Mr. Stone and Von Wagner also had the advantage of having The Robert Stone Brand, Frankie Monet, Jessi Kamea, and Aliyah, at ringside, who cheered and supported them.
The match ended when Von Wagner hit Mensah with a Wagner Bomb, and then tagged in Mr. Stone, who covered Mensah for the win. Mr. Stone and Von Wagner celebrated their victory, while The Robert Stone Brand joined them in the ring. Meta-Four looked disappointed, but showed respect to their opponents.
The Family’s Adrianna Rizzo vs. O.T.M.’s Jaida Parker: Singles Match
The fifth match was a singles match between The Family’s Adrianna Rizzo and O.T.M.’s Jaida Parker. Rizzo was the wife of Tony D’Angelo, and a member of The Family. She had made her NXT debut in January 2024, and had defeated several female wrestlers with ease. Parker was the leader of O.T.M., a group of female rappers who followed her motto of “Only The Money”. She had also made her NXT debut in January 2024, and had impressed with her skills and attitude.
The match was a heated rivalry, as both women had exchanged words and insults on social media and in interviews. Rizzo and Parker also had their respective groups, The Family and O.T.M., at ringside, who added to the tension and drama. Rizzo and Parker fought with intensity and aggression, with neither one giving an inch. Rizzo used her technical and striking skills, while Parker used her speed and creativity.
The match ended when Rizzo locked in a Sicilian Stretch, a modified crossface, on Parker, and forced her to tap out. Rizzo celebrated her victory, while The Family joined her in the ring. Parker looked furious, while O.T.M. consoled her.
Kiana James vs. Brinley Reece: Singles Match
The sixth match was a singles match between Kiana James and Brinley Reece. James was a former gymnast and cheerleader, who had transitioned to wrestling. She had a bubbly and energetic personality, and a flashy and acrobatic style. Reece was a former model and actress, who had also switched to wrestling. She had a glamorous and arrogant personality, and a powerful and ruthless style.
The match was a clash of opposites, as James and Reece had different backgrounds and approaches. James tried to use her speed and agility to outwit Reece, but Reece used her strength and size to overpower James. James also had to deal with the interference of Reece’s manager, Cameron Grimes, who tried to distract and cheat for Reece.
The match ended when James hit Reece with a springboard hurricanrana, and then pinned her with a bridge. James celebrated her victory, while Reece and Grimes looked shocked and angry.
Lyra Valkyria vs. Shotzi: NXT Women’s Championship Match
The main event was the NXT Women’s Championship match between Lyra Valkyria and Shotzi. Valkyria was the NXT Women’s Champion, and had defeated Raquel Gonzalez, Io Shirai, and Dakota Kai in a fatal four-way match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. She had also successfully defended her title against Ember Moon, Kay Lee Ray, and Xia Li. Shotzi was the challenger, and had earned her title shot by winning a battle royal in January 2024, eliminating Candice LeRae in the final.
The match was a spectacular and exciting encounter, as both women gave their all to win the title. Valkyria and Shotzi had similar styles, as they both relied on their athleticism and innovation. Valkyria and Shotzi also had a lot of respect for each other, as they shook hands before and after the match.
The match had many near falls and reversals, as both women hit their signature moves and finishers, but could not put the other away. Valkyria hit Shotzi with a Valkyrie’s Flight, a corkscrew moonsault, but Shotzi kicked out. Shotzi hit Valkyria with a Howling, a senton bomb, but Valkyria kicked out. The match reached its climax when Valkyria and Shotzi climbed to the top rope, and Valkyria hit Shotzi with a Valkyrie’s Spear, a spear from the top rope, and then pinned her for the win. Valkyria retained her NXT Women’s Championship, and extended her reign to 105 days. Valkyria and Shotzi hugged and raised each other’s hands, as the crowd gave them a standing ovation.
After the match, Valkyria was interviewed by McKenzie Mitchell, who asked her who she wanted to face next. Valkyria said that she was ready for any challenge, and that she wanted to be the best NXT Women’s Champion of all time. She then said that she had a message for the NXT Universe: “Thank you for your support, and remember: the sky is the limit!”
The show ended with Valkyria celebrating with her title, while Shotzi applauded her from the ramp.
