iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo, has announced that it will launch its new flagship phone, the iQOO 12, in India soon. The company’s CEO Nipun Marya confirmed the news on Twitter and revealed that the iQOO 12 will be the first phone in India to feature Qualcomm’s newly released Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This is a powerful processor that will power many premium phones in 2024.

The iQOO 12 is expected to launch in China on November 7 and then make its debut in India after a few weeks. The phone has been leaked online and some of its specs and features have been revealed. According to the leaks, the iQOO 12 will sport an AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The display will also have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner that will work even with wet or moist fingers.
The iQOO 12 will also have a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel Omnivision OV50H sensor, a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens with ISOCELL JN1 sensor, and a 64-megapixel sensor with 3X optical zoom. The phone will also support 200W fast charging technology and have a 5,000mAh battery under the hood.
